L'ancienne église du Mollard était en mauvais état depuis le XVIIIe siècle, la nouvelle fût construite en 1841.
A l'entrée du chœur à gauche se trouve une Vierge à l'Enfant qui daterait du XVIIe siècle.
Le clocher, restauré en 1993, est surmonté d'un imposant "coq-girouette" de cuivre.
