Fondée en 1948, cette chapelle est un "témoignage de reconnaissance des habitants du Sappey, leur village ayant été épargné lors de la guerre de 1939-45". Curiosité incontournable du Sappey.
Une chapelle tout en bois, au cœur du hameau du Churut, sur les hauteurs du Sappey en Chartreuse. C'est à l'instigation de Lucie Bonfils, avec la participation active des artisans locaux et à une souscription à laquelle les habitants ont répondu volontiers que l'on doit son édification. La famille Jay-navizet a quand à elle fait don du terrain. Elle est consacrée par Mgr Vittoz, évêque axillaire de Grenoble, le 23 mai 1948.
