All the wells were restored in 1858.
They are located: at La Pomatière (filled in); adjoining the Town Hall (between 16 and 20 metres deep); at Brieux (still contains water); at Le Martin (still contains water; at Le Moyroud; at La Verratière; on the Groslée road; at Tours (3 wells, near Chamousset farm, the washhouse and the Troillet house on the Tours Port road); and on the Save riverbank (catchment well built in 1936 to supply the reservoir behind the town hall).
There are also a few privately-owned wells.
