Less than an hour from Lyon, in the heart of the Balcons du Dauphiné, explore the voie verte via 2 very accessible circuits for first-time cyclists.
The walk covers 18km on its own site, away from road traffic and in the shade of the undergrowth.
Leaving from the car park in the hamlet of Serrières in Trept, you can choose one of the following routes:
- Head west towards the medieval town of Crémieu.
This largely shaded route alternates between undergrowth and open country as far as the imposing Fusa gorges at the entrance to Crémieu.
Allow 2 hours round trip for a visit and a drink on one of the many terraces.
- Head east towards the Espace Naturel Sensible des étangs de la Serre, with a connection to ViaRhôna at Arandon.
Allow 1? hours round trip to enjoy the natural surroundings and relax.
