Join the Alpe d'Huez ski area! From La Garde-en-Oisans, this chairlift takes you directly to the heart of the 250 km of pistes.
IMPORTANT: get your lift pass in advance, as there are no sales outlets on site.
The Maronne chairlift is much more than just a means of transport to higher altitudes; it's a veritable gateway to the snow-covered panoramas and emotionally-charged activities of the Alpe d'Huez ski area.
Located in an enchanting natural setting, far from everything, this elevator, open only in winter, combines functionality and practicality, making it a must for avoiding the crowds.
DID YOU KNOW?
In 1976, the hamlet of Maronne was linked to the Auris-en-Oisans ski area with the installation of the Châtelard lift, adding four new runs from the Col de Maronne. This provided a link to the isolated hamlets of La Garde-en-Oisans. In 2001, the Châtelard lift was replaced by the Maronne chairlift, this time reaching the summit of Les Sûres, part of the Alpe d'Huez ski area.
