Located in the former Town Hall in the centre of Villard-de-Lans, the Heritage Centre has been completely renovated. Founded by Jacques Lamoure in 1988, it tells the story of the Quatre Montagnes.

Installée dans l’ancien Hôtel de ville, au centre du village de Villard-de-Lans, la Maison du Patrimoine, municipale, a été entièrement rénovée. Fondée par Jacques Lamoure en 1988, elle présente l’histoire des Quatre Montagnes.

Venez découvrir au rez-de-chaussée les deux salles d'expositions temporaires régulièrement renouvelées (expos patrimoniales ou artistiques).

- Au 1er étage vous découvrirez les évènements qui ont marqué la vie du canton à travers les thèmes de la résistance, du climatisme, des JO de 1968 et plus anciennement de la construction des routes et le début du tourisme et des transports.
- Le 2ème étage est consacré à la vie quotidienne, à l'agriculture et l'artisanat de la fin du XIX° siècle avec de nombreux documents, photos, objets, outils d'artisans ou matériel agricole. Une visite qui plaît aux petits comme aux grands.
