Le Serpaton

LIEN FICHE SIT 5673179

Although the ascent from the village is quite strenuous, the Serpaton route offers one of the finest viewpoints in the Vercors-Trièves region, with exceptional panoramic views of the surrounding peaks!

From the tourist office, go down the main road for 300m, then turn right to join the slightly steep path that leads to the Serpaton mountain pasture, where you'll find a shelter and exhibition in the hall to the left of the road, and a panoramic view of the Alps from the Serpaton pass. If it's foggy, it's advisable to turn back at the gate before taking the normal descent route via Uclaire.
