Chamrousse goes retro for a weekend for the 9th edition in 2025!
This unique event brings together hundreds of enthusiasts of old machinery (cars, motorcycles, scooters) and vintage skiing every year.
It's an opportunity to relive the history of winter sports for a weekend, from the first hesitant tracks of the pioneers of the 30s, to the more modernist and sharpened style of the late 60s.

GENERAL PUBLIC :
- Spectator - free access: vintage village and convoy gathering of vintage vehicles and skating rink evening.
- Participation - fee payable and registration required: vintage slalom (ski pass), swing dance classes and evening festivities.
Dress code: in order to experience this journey through time, we invite participants to respect a coherent dress code, with ski outfits and evening wear either vintage (pre-1969) or inspired by it.

Participant program (≠ general public)
FRIDAY
- 10am-12pm: exhibitors welcome and village preparation
- 12pm-6pm: village opening
- 7-9pm: Welcome Ice Party at the ice rink (skating and field hockey match)

SATURDAY
- 10am-11.30am: motorcycle departure from "Seiglières" on the road up to Chamrousse
- 12pm: activities (tobogganing, skating, hiking, dance classes, etc.) or free skiing
- 2pm-4pm: 1st session of dance lessons by La Guinguette Mobile (2pm-3pm Lindy hop beginners / 3pm-4pm Jazz roots)
- 4pm-5pm: vintage slalom with 3 categories: 30s/40s and 50s/60s
- 5pm-5:30pm: toboggan race
- 8pm-2am: festive evening with concert by The Moonlight Gang and Supersonic Swingers + dance at the Salle polyvalente (under the Tourist Office)

SUNDAY
- 9am: village opening with flea market (vintage clothing and equipment)
- 10 a.m.-12 p.m.: rally/ride and vintage car-bike exhibition
- 10am-2pm: activities (tobogganing, skating, hiking, dance classes, flea market...) or free skiing
- 1pm-3pm: 2nd session of dance classes by La Guinguette Mobile (1pm-2pm Lindy hop advanced / 2pm-3pm Blues dance beginner)
- 2:30pm - 4pm: prize-giving ceremony
- 4pm: village closes
