Since the fall of 2006, a heritage trail has been proposed. It relates the history of the spa from Roman times to the present day. (Departure Tourist Office).
Dès l'époque romaine, la station thermale est très fréquentée. En 1781, l'eau des sources d'Uriage est déclarée curative. La marquise de Gautheron, héritière des Langon, derniers seigneurs d'Uriage, crée à proximité des sources une ébauche de station de cure. Par la suite, son neveu, le comte Louis-Xavier Sibeud de Saint-Ferriol, fonde en 1877 la Société Anonyme de l'Établissement Thermal d'Uriage. Commence alors le grand essor de la station thermale...
