Château Teyssier de Savy is set in a 7-hectare rural setting where the sun plays with the shade of hundred-year-old lime trees.

The entire property is listed in the Inventaire Supplémentaire des Monuments Historiques (ISMH).

An architectural heritage comprising a group of buildings harmoniously distributed around an inner courtyard, forming a picturesque silhouette above the old village of Saint Chef. A fine, moving chapel bathed in light filtered through stained-glass windows dating from 1869 invites meditation. Numerous links with the abbey church. Visit the park, the architectural complex, the inner courtyard and the chapel, harmoniously distributed around an inner courtyard. Architecture from the 11th to 17th centuries. The chapel is a jewel, richly decorated with murals and stained-glass windows dating from 1869.

Burnt down in 1403, the Vieux Château was restored. All that remains of the original period is the large 11th-century round tower and the Tour du Poulet.

The château belonged to the family of Jacques Joffrey, knight Bayard's squire. The building was modified and enlarged over the centuries. The Château de Saint-Chef, more commonly known as Château Teyssier de Savy, is a picturesque silhouette in the old medieval town, with its rough stone walls, high roofs and Romanesque towers. It is set in a 6.8-hectare rural setting, where the sun plays with the shade of century-old lime trees.
