Champ marrant cultive des légumes de manière à ne pas dégrader l'environnement : Le sol n'est pas travaillé, il est amendé avec de la matière organique exclusivement. Cette matière organique est produite entièrement sur place et dans le village. Les graines et les plants sont auto-produits, ainsi que le terreau.
