Easily accessible in the Belledonne massif, on a mountain pasture surrounded by cows in summer and vast expanses of snow in winter, enjoy a ‘wide angle’ view over a drink or a fine meal in a warm and friendly atmosphere
The hut is situated at an elevation of 1700 meters with a beautiful panoramic point of view.
From the Parking lot in the "Espace Nordique du Barioz" at 1400 meters altitude, you'll find two different trails, the one on your right is a little trail going by "Pierre roubet" (name written on the yellow signs) the one on your left is a mud road.

Pour rejoindre le parking du Foyer de Fond su Barioz, point de départ principal de la randonnée, depuis Grenoble ou chambéry, vous devez emprunter l'autoroute A41 et sortir à la sortie Le Touvet. Vous suivrez ensuite la D525 jusqu'à Sailles le Bas. Par la suite vous prendrez la D280L puis la D280 et D281B jusqu'au foyer de Fond du Barioz.
Depuis Allevard-les-Bains, dirigez vous vers Crêts-en-Belledonne, longez le lac jusqu'au bout et avancez jusqu'au feu de signalisation. Prenez à gauche la D280 et continuez sur la route puis la D281B jusqu'au parking du Foyer de Fond du Barioz .
