Both a museum and a café, the Chasal Lento is a real place to live, share, meet and discover the local heritage located in the heart of the village of Mont de Lans.

After your visit to the museum or simply for a break in the village, Chasal Lento offers you a café area with the possibility of tasting some sweets in a real old-fashioned bistro atmosphere. From its terrace with a unique view, the Café du Chasal invites you to a moment of relaxation with a piano at your disposal, a library with books related to the museum, card and board games, activities for children, wifi access...
Every Wednesday morning, when the small market takes place in the streets of the village, the wool spinner recounts her childhood memories of herding cattle on the mountain pastures. Walks combining nature, heritage and geology are organised every Tuesday and Wednesday during the summer season. On Friday evenings, at nightfall, this little corner of history takes on another dimension, this time musical, with evening concerts that delight the eyes and ears of the curious.
Take the time to go back in time by spending a pleasant moment at the Café-musée, you will be welcome.
