En voiture: Depuis la Mure (direction Grenoble), suivre la Motte d'Aveillans (D 529). Entrer dans Nantizon, faire 400 m et prendre à gauche. Au feu tricolore, traverser la voie ferrée et suivre direction "Versenat", "La Sauzie". Se garer au mieux, 3m plus loin, dans le 2ème hameau.
A pied: 17 min- Prendre à droite devant le four communal. 100m plus loin, suivre la route forestière à droite jusque sur le plateau qui surplombe la Matheysine. Poursuivre jusqu'à la lisière du bois, marcher encore 200m et prendre à droite une sente qui rejoint le pied de la falaise en deux lacets.
