You will love this character house, with its art deco style, renovated with respect for its original charm... a family hotel that is filled with history! Built in 1936, it is one of the oldest hotels in the town.
The Sert family has owned the hotel since 1985. It is perfectly located in the centre of the town and at the foot of the iconic climb up to Alpe d'Huez. The house, which has been fully renovated, has 10 bedrooms and 9 apartments, as well as a private car park, garden and rear terrace next to the river and an outside pool for the summer season.
Each bedroom has its own personality, but they are all very comfortable, with ensuite bathrooms, a flat screen TV with international channels, a desk and cupboard. There are also free Wi-Fi connection areas.
Several rooms have a terrace or balcony, with a view over the river and surrounding mountains. Cycling enthusiasts can admire the 21 switchbacks up to Alpe d'Huez!
The apartments are sumptuous, cleverly combining tradition and innovation. Ranging from 40 m² to duplex apartments of 150 m², they provide every comfort, with a bathroom, fully-fitted kitchen, corner lounge and dining room.
Every morning, you can enjoy a generous buffet breakfast, featuring healthy food that is mainly home-made using locally-sourced produce.
For relaxation, we have a swimming pool for the summer, a riverside terrace, a gym with massage area, spa, lounge and games room, with French billiards, a games table and an international collection of books.
Skiing and cycling feature among the many activities enjoyed locally and you can store your equipment safely in our ski shed.
We provide cyclists with bike rooms, secured with a door code, as well as a bike washing station and a workshop with a tyre pumping station. Please ask for cycling recommendations cyclist-to-cyclist, as we form part of the cycling fraternity. In addition, a partner cycling shop is located nearby.
A secured car parking area for cars, motorbikes and minivans is also available on site.
