La Miellerie des Balcons is a family-run business run by Yohan and Alexandra, two beekeepers with a passion for the fascinating world of bees.
Most of the honeys are certified organic.

Local, varied honey production :
Committed to beekeeping that respects the environment, they produce authentic honeys from the Ain, Isère, Rhône and Drôme regions.
The locations of the apiaries are carefully selected according to the flora and tree species present, enabling them to offer a wide range of honeys with unique flavours. Most of the beehives are sedentary, but some of them migrate during the summer to harvest the most sought-after honeys, such as lavender honey or all-flower mountain honey.

Artisanal honey products :
As part of a local and responsible approach, Yohan and Alexandra work with regional artisans to develop customised products. The Miellerie des Balcons offers nougat, mead, honey beer and homemade sweets.

You can find their products :
In the honey shop, open Fridays from 3pm to 7pm.
Saturday mornings (even weeks) at the La Tour-du-Pin market (place Prunelle) from 8am to 12pm.
The first Saturday of the month at the Ferme de la Goyardière in Corbelin from 8.30am to 12pm.

Passing on knowledge about bees :
Keen to share their passion and raise awareness of the important role of bees among the younger generation, Yohan and Alexandra welcome school groups to the honey house every year. These educational visits are tailored to the age and level of the pupils. They can take place over half a day or a full day, with the option of picnicking on site. Each session is a captivating immersion in the world of bees, enabling children to understand their essential role in biodiversity and the environment.
