La Gardette est une maison moderne composée de 4 chambres d'hôtes, située à 2 km de du centre ville de Bourg d'Oisans et à 5 minutes en vélo de la fameuse montée de l'Alpe d'Huez.
It is situated just under 2 km from the centre of the market town of Bourg d’Oisans, in the heart of the French Alps. It is an ideal base for an active holiday in the mountains, whether your interest is mountain biking, skiing & snowboarding, walking, or one of the numerous other activities possible in the Oisans valley. All around is stunning scenery, with the Ecrins Park, the largest National park in France literally on our doorstep.
This accommodation is certified "Accueil Cyclo Oisans - 2 vélos" and offers equipment and services adpated to the cyclist customers.

If your aim is cycling up Alpe D’Huez, our accommodation in Bourg D’Oisans is a five minute ride from the bottom of the legendary mountain used so many times in the Tour de France. It is also near to a number of other famous Tour de France climbs including the Col du Galibier, making it a perfect location for a cycling holiday in the French Alps.
There are many walking trails locally within the Oisans valley itself, or a short journey away in the Park Ecrins, just 10 kilometers away from Bourg D’Oisans. The Park has 700 km of trails ranging from loops of a few hours up to multi-day hikes. Also within the park are opportunities for kayaking, rafting, climbing and more.
The ski resort of Alpe D’Huez is a twenty minute drive from the apartment, which links up to four other ski resorts to form the Alpe D’Huez ski domain with 133 slopes totalling 250km. Les Deux Alpes is another ski resort within easy driving distance with 93 slopes.
Prices for ensuite rooms start from €38 per person per night (based on 2 sharing including breakfast). We have 3 double/twin rooms and a family room which sleeps four.
