La Grave - La Meije

To the very north of the Hautes-Alpes, skiing enthusiasts from all over the world come to experience the extraordinary domain of La Grave-La Meije. Glacier cable car, a 360° panorama, abundant powder snow, a 2150 m difference in height over almost 9 kilometres of downhill slopes: a must for ‘freeriders’. The village of La Grave is also classed “Plus beaux villages de France” (Most Beautiful Villages in France).

In a high mountain, glacial environment, the site makes free skiing possible and most of the curves will be made in powder snow, glacial zones, steep gullies or deep valleys. This off-piste domain is accessible to good skiers. The village resorts of the Haute Romanche, Chazelet and Villar d’Arène, are close by.
