Quiet walk (round trip) in the forest to the peaceful pastures of the Emeindra du Dessus. Beautiful panorama on arrival.
Departure from la Croix du Rocher, above the car park for the cross-country ski center, climb the path that passes between the two houses and follow it. At the end, pass an opening in the fence and climb through the meadow, following the markings. Once on the main track, continue up the path opposite to the junction at a place called Montjalat. Continue uphill to Montjalat le haut.
Go to the right to follow a path in the woods which overlooks the cross-country ski trail (do not descend on the latter, respect the markings). The trail first leads to the ruin of the Emeindras du Dessus (ruin), then continues uphill to reach the Emeindras du Dessus mountain pasture. After enjoying the place, come back by the same path.
