Located 45 minutes south of Grenoble, Mont Aiguille, first conquered in 1492 by Antoine de Ville, offers 50 climbing routes. We strongly recommend taking a mountain guide with you.

The best-known of these routes is undoubtedly the Voie Normale. This is the historic route, probably taken in 1492. Not very difficult, it is widely used and was re-equipped in 2019. The descent includes a 45m abseil. ( descent route shared with other routes)
Other routes :
- Voie des Gémeaux (beautiful, classic, well-equipped climb, D+)
- Pilier Sud (very beautiful and classic route, TD-)
- Voie des Etudiants (vertical and athletic route, continuous in difficulty, TD+)
- Voie des Diables (magnificent, aerial route, continuous difficulty, TD+)
- La 29 mai (classic route on the SE face, TD-)
- Pilier Nord-Est (adventure terrain, TD- )
