Introduction to climbing with a guide in the Écrins schools
La Bérarde's climbing schools are spread over 5 sectors. The general climbing style is athletic on hard granite, often on slabs or cracks. The 5 sectors are distant from each other, but the beauty of the Mecca of Alpinism is widely compensated. For more details on the 5 sectors, please refer to the FFME topo "climbing in Isère" and the topo "climbing at La Bérarde". The climbing sites are located in the protected area of the Ecrins National Park and the Haut Vénéon Nature Reserve.
From August 10 to September 1, 2024: Free shuttle service
Bourg d'Oisans/St Christophe en Oisans bus station: departures at 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.
St Christophe en Oisans/Bourg d'Oisans bus station: departures at 8:15 a.m. and 6:15 p.m.
